
Ingredients:
• Mumura – 200gs
• Carrot, Beans, Cabbage, Peas – 1 Cup each
• Green chilli – 8(you may add more to your taste)
• Onion Chopped – 1 Cup
• Lemon Juice – 2 spoons
• Grated fresh Coconut – 1 Cup
• Urad Dal – 1/2 tsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Jeera – 1 tsp
• Coriander and Curry leaves – Fine Chopped
• Salt to taste
• Oil – 5 to 6 tsp
• Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Place a medium-size pan on the stove. Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add urad dal, green chilli, curry leaves, jeera, turmeric powder and onion.
- Wait for 2 mins. Add all cut vegetables and fry for 10 mins.
- Wash mumura in fresh water, drain and add to the above mixture.
- Add lemon, salt, coriander leaves, mix thoroughly and wait for 5 mins.
- Upma is ready.
