
Ingredients:
• 1kg – Chicken pieces
• 500g – Onions, sliced
• 50g – Garlic, sliced
• 50g – Ginger, sliced
• 1/2tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2tsp – Turmeric powder
• 4 – Whole Red Chilli
• 10g – Garam Masala
• 300ml – Tomato puree
• 15g – Coriander powder
• 500ml – Water
• 150g – Ghee
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Slice the onions, ginger and garlic and keep aside.
- Heat ghee for 1 minute, then add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, red chillies and coriander powder.
- Cover the dish and cook on high for 3 mins.
- Put the sliced onions-ginger-garlic mix and cook for 3 mins on high.
- Add chicken and 500 ml water and cook for 8 mins.
- Stir well, add salt, garam masala and cook for 7 mins, till done.
