Ingredients:

• 1/4 kg – Mutton
• 6 to 7 – Red Chillies
• 2 tsp – grated Coconut
• 2 tsp – cumin
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 2 tsp – coriander
• 1 tsp – pepper Corns
• 1.5 tsp – split gram
• Turmeric powder
• Curry leaves
• spices
• salt
• oil

Method:

  1. In a cooker, add cleaned mutton with turmeric powder, spices, salt and ginger-garlic paste. Pour enough water to it and cook it well (two whistles).
  2. Heat the pan, add oil and put some cumin and curry leaves.
  3. Add the mutton and let it boil for sometime.
  4. Meanwhile, grind coconut, curry leaves, split gram, coriander, pepper and red chillies.
  5. Don’t add water while grinding the mixture.
  6. When the mutton gets dry, add the mixture which is ground.
  7. Mix well and allow it to roast for sometime .
  8. Serve hot with rasam rice or chapatti.
