Ingredients:
• 20-25 – Cashews
• 10-15 – Almonds
• 7-10 – Pistachios (un-salted)
• 10 – Black Raisins
• A pinch – Saffron
• 1 – Cardamom
• 1/4 cup – Sugar
• 1/4 cup – Milk Powder
• 1/4 cup – Water
• 2 drops – Rose Essence
Method:
- Take cashews, almonds, pistachios and grind them together.
- Take a cup of water, 1/4 cup of sugar and boil them together.
- Add the black raisins and the ground dry fruits to the boiling sugar syrup.
- Keep the flame on medium and stir the mixture for 2-3 minutes.
- Add 1/4 cup of powdered milk to the mixture. Stir for a few minutes.
- Add some saffron, 2 drops of rose essence and one ground cardamom.
- Let the mixture cool down. The halwa is ready. Serve it cold.
