Ingredients:
• 2 medium size – Zucchini
• 2 cups – moong dal
• 1 tsp – sambar powder
• Salt as required
• A pinch of Asafoetida
• 3 tsp – Jeera
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 3-4 – Green chillies
• 2 – Red Chillies
• Chopped coriander to garnish
Method:
- Wash and drain the dal and cook until soft.
- Dice the zucchini and add sambar powder, salt and asafoetida. Cook until soft and mushy.
- Add the dal to the vegetable and mix well.
- Crackle mustard; add urad dal, jeera, green chillies and red chillies.
- Pour it over the dal. Garnish with chopped coriander.
- If needed squeeze some lemon over the top.
- Serve with rice/chapatti.
