Ingredients:
• 1 cup sago, dry
• 1 cup roasted peeled peanuts, crushed or powdered
• 3-4 green chillies, chopped
• 3 tbsp coriander, chopped
• 4-5 Curry leaves
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1/4 tsp Sugar (optional)
• salt as per taste
• 1.5 tsp Lime juice
Method:
- Wash sago gently. Remove excess water. Keep aside for 1 hour.
- Loosen the sago and break lumps with figures. Sprinkle a handful of water. Keep aside for 1 hour. Loosen as before.
- Take in a mixing bowl. Add all ingredients except the coriander leaves. Mix well with hands or wooden spatula.
- Just before serving, put in a non-stick pan and cook till the grain is softened and translucent.
- Alternatively, microwave for 30 seconds, stir gently and microwave again for 30 seconds.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve immediately, with hot tea or coffee.
