
Ingredients:
• 250 gm – Okra
• 5 tbsp – oil
• 1 – Star anise
• 1/2 cup – minced Onion
• 2 tsp – minced Garlic
• 2 tsp – minced Ginger
• 1/2 cup – chopped Celery
• 2 tsp – minced Green chilli
• 1/2 cup – minced Cabbage
• 2 tsp – roasted chilli paste
• 1/2 cup – Tomato sauce
• 1 tsp – Sugar
Method:
- Wash okra and wipe them dry.
- Cut into 3 cm long pieces.
- Heat oil in a wok and fry okra till brown.
- Drain and reserve.
- To the remaining oil in the pan, add star anise, onion, garlic and ginger.
- Fry till fragrant.
- Add celery, green chilli and cabbage.
- Stir fry for 30 seconds.
- Add chilli paste and tomato sauce.
- Add okra, salt and sugar.
- Toss well and remove from fire.
- Serve hot with fried rice or noodles.
