Ingredients:

• 2 – Onion
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1/2 cup – gram flour
• 1/4 cup – Rice flour
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
• Curry leaves -a few
• Oil for frying.

Method:

  1. Slice the onions, add a little salt and keep aside for 5 mins.
  2. Finely chop the green chillies and add it to the chopped onions
  3. Add besan flour, rice flour, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander leaves and curry leaves to the onion and mix well and knead it. Do not add any water.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry small balls of dough.
  5. Remove excess oil by placing them on a kitchen towel.
  6. Serve.
