Ingredients:
• 10 – big leafs of Palak (spinach)
• 3 – medium sized potatoes, boiled and mashed thoroughly
• 1 – green chilli, chopped finely
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper powder
• 1/2 tsp – roasted cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp – dry coriander powder
• 2 tsp – chat masala powder
• 2 tbsp – green coriander, finely chopped
• Salt – to taste
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• For batter :
• 1 cup – besan.
• Water – 1/2 cup
• Ajwain – 1/4 tsp
• Red Chilli powder- 1 tsp
• Salt – to taste
• A pinch – baking soda
Method:
- Wash the palak leafs and allow them to dry.
- Mix besan, water and masalas together to make a thick batter.
- Mix mashed potatoes and all masalas thoroughly and divide it into 8-10 parts.
- Take palak leaf and put one part of masala on it, flatten it and roll out the leaf.
- Dip the leaf in the batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
