
Ingredients:
• 2 – Potatoes (cut and cooked)
• 1 cup – peas (fresh)
• 1 cup – onion, finely chopped
• 2 – Tomatoes (chopped)
• 10 Cloves – Garlic
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1/4 cup – coconut, grated
• 1 cup – Coconut Milk
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• 1 tsp – fennel
• 1 tsp – Saunf
• 2 sticks – Cinnamon
• 2 – Cardamom
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 3 tsp – oil
• 1 cup – water
• Salt – to taste
• Coriander – for garnish
Method:
- Heat 3 tsp of oil in a pan, add bay leaf, saunf, cardamom, and cinnamon sticks. Fry for a minute.
- Now, add onion and garlic. Fry well till both turns golden brown.
- Add tomato and fry for a minute.
- Add peas, 1 cup water and salt.
- Let it boil till the peas are cooked.
- Now, add cooked potatoes and mix well.
- Grind 1/4 cup coconut with green chillies and add it to the contents in the pan.
- Mix well and cook on medium heat for another 10 minutes.
- Switch off the stove, wait for few minutes and then add the coconut milk.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Garnish with coriander.
- Serve hot with paratha or rice.
