Ingredients:

• 1 kg – rahu fish pieces
• 2 – onions, chopped
• 4 – green chillies, sliced
• For paste:
• 2 tbsp – grated Coconut
• 2 tsp – Khus Khus
• 8 – Garlic
• 10 – cashew
• A pinch of Turmeric
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 – Lemon
• 1/2 cup – coriander leaves, chopped
• 2 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash the fish and marinate it with lemon juice.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and fry them till soft.
  3. Grind all the ingredients with a little water, except chilli powder, turmeric powder, lemon and coriander leaves.
  4. Add ground masala, chilli powder, salt and turmeric. Mix well.
  5. Add the fish along with a little water and cook till done.
  6. Add chopped coriander leaves and juice of lemon.
  7. Serve hot with rice.
