
Ingredients:
• 1/2 pound – okra, cut in small pieces
• 3 – medium sized red Onions
• 4 – Green chillies
• 1 tbsp – khus-khus
• A handful of cashews
• 2 – Tomatoes
• 1 cup – yogurt
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 – tsp coriander powder
• A little each of cumin, Methi seeds and Saunf
• Salt for taste
• Cilantro for garnishing
Method:
- Fry okra partially or can bake them in oven 400 degrees for 15 mins.
- Dry roast the khus-khus and cashews. Saute onions and grind them along with the khus-khus and cashews.
- Splutter cumin, methi seeds and saunf. Then saute sliced green chillies and tomatoes.
- Add the ground paste, chilli powder, cumin powder and coriander powder. Cook til oil separates.
- Add yogurt and cook for 15 mins.
- Finally add the fried okra and salt.
- Garnish with cilantro.
