Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Macaroni / Pasta.
• 100g – Prawns, cleaned.
• 2 – Onions, large.
• 3 – tomatoes, medium.
• 2 – green chillies.
• 1 tsp – Ginger-garlic paste.
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder.
• 1 tsp – Chilli powder.
• 4 -cloves.
• 3 – small Cinnamon sticks.
• 1 – Cardamom (optional).
• 1/2 cup – Mint/Pudina.
• Coriander leaves – to garnish.
• Salt to taste.
• 4 tbsp – oil.
Method:
- Heat the oil in a pressure pan and add the whole spices. After it splutters, add the onions, green chilli and saute.
- Add the ginger garlic paste and saute. Then add tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes are mashed well.
- Add salt, turmeric and chilli powder.
- Now add the prawns and stir for 2-3 mins.
- Add 4 cups of water and bring to boil.
- Now add the mint leaves and the macaroni.
- Cover and cook for 3-4 whistles.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot.
