Ingredients:

• 4-5 big Potatoes
• 5-6 Cloves of Garlic
• 1 inch long Ginger
• 2-3 tsp chilli powder (depends on your taste)
• salt to taste
• 4 tsp oil

Method:

  1. Cut the potatoes into 1 inch square pieces.
  2. Wash and crush ginger and garlic nicely.
  3. Heat the oil and when very hot, add ginger-garlic and fry till light brown.
  4. Add chilli powder, then add potatoes, salt, half a cup of water.
  5. Cover and cook on a low flame. Cook until potatoes are cooked and water is all gone and dry.
  6. You can add more oil at this point fry little longer, which will taste better.
  7. If you want it more spicy, add more chilli powder.
  8. It goes well with rice and dal.
