
Ingredients:
• 3 cups – Carrots, cut into pieces
• 3 cups – Cauliflower, cut into florets
• 2.5 tsp – Red chili powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 5 tbsp – Mustard, powdered
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seed
• 1 tsp – Oil
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Boil 2 litres of water
- Add the vegetables and remove from heat after 2 minutes.
- Drain water after 2 minutes.
- Lay the vegetables on a towel to dry for an hour.
- In a bowl, mix the powdered spices.
- Add vegetables to the spices and mix well.
- Heat oil and splutter the mustard seeds, add to the vegetables.
- Leave in the bowl for 8 hours stirring occasionally 2-3 times.
- Let it mature in a jar for 4-5 days.
