Ingredients:

• 1 big – Raw banana
• 1 cup – Curd (should be sour to taste)
• Turmeric powder, a pinch
• 5-6 – dry Red Chillies
• 1 tbsp – urad dhal
• 5-6 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Peel the banana and cut into slices.
  2. In a bowl, soak the slices with sour curd, turmeric powder, salt for 3-5 hours.
  3. Then drain the curd and keep the slices aside.
  4. Heat oil, add urad dhal; when it is brown, add red chillies.
  5. Add some more oil and the banana slices, and fry till they become golden brown.
  6. Serve this with hot rice.
