
Ingredients:
• 2 – raw plantains
• For Masala:
• 1 tbsp – Channa dal
• 1/2 tbsp – Urad Dal
• 1/2 tbsp – dhaniya
• 1 tsp – Coconut
• (roast each and make a powder)
• For Seasoning:
• 1 tbsp -oil
• Some Urad Dal
• Mustard and Jeera
• Curry leaves
• 1/4 tbsp – Tamarind pulp
• Salt, to taste
• 1 tbsp – oil
Method:
- Peel plantain and cut into small cubes. Take that in a vessel, add some water (1/2 cup), salt and turmeric and pressure cook until 3 whistles.
- Put seasoning in kadai with urad dal, mustard and jeera. Add cut green chillies and curry leaves, if you have them.
- Now add cooked plantain along with water.
- Let it simmer on the stove for 2 min until water evaporates.
- Add the ground powder and some tamarind pulp. After a minute switch off the stove.
