
Ingredients:
• 5 medium sized Potatoes
• 5 to 6 Green chillies (finely chopped)
• 5 bread slices
• 2 to 3 tbsp – oil (for making the tikkis)
• oil for deep frying
• salt to taste
Method:
- Boil the potatoes and mash them when still hot.
- Dry grind the bread slices. In a bowl mix together mashed potatoes, bread, green chillies and salt.
- Mix well to make a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into small equal portions.
- Apply little oil on the palm of our hand.
- Shape each portion in to round shaped tikkis but slightly flattened.
- Repeat with the remaining portions.
- Deep-fry in hot oil till golden.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
