Ingredients:

• Cauliflower – 1 medium
• Green chillies – 15
• Ginger – 1 inch
• Garlic – 10 flakes
• Corn starch or Corn flour – 1 cup
• Oil
• Soy sauce – 3 Tbsp
• Tomato ketchup/sauce – 3 tbsp
• Water – as per need
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut cauliflower into tiny pieces and put it in a vessel.
  2. Apply salt to the cut pieces and mix.
  3. Cut half of the green chillies into small pieces and half of them lengthwise.
  4. Add the small pieces to the cut cauliflower.
  5. Cut ginger and garlic to small pieces. Add half of it to the above mixture.
  6. Add corn starch/corn flour to the above mixture too.
  7. Mix well and try to form small dumplings out of it.
  8. If the mixture is not sticky, add some more corn starch or add some water.
  9. Keep in mind that the mixture shouldn’t have a lot of flour in it.
  10. Take some oil for frying. After the oil is hot, add these small dumplings and fry till they are light brown or crunchy.
  11. After you finish frying, take about 2 tbsp of oil in a wok/frying pan.
  12. Add the green chillies cut lengthwise and the remaining half of the ginger and the garlic. Fry for some time.
  13. Then add the fried dumplings to it.
  14. Add all the sauces and water. If you want gravy, add around 2 cups of water, or if you want it dry, just add 1/2 cup of water. Add salt as per the taste.
  15. Serve hot with fried rice.
