Ingredients:
• Cauliflower – 1 medium
• Green chillies – 15
• Ginger – 1 inch
• Garlic – 10 flakes
• Corn starch or Corn flour – 1 cup
• Oil
• Soy sauce – 3 Tbsp
• Tomato ketchup/sauce – 3 tbsp
• Water – as per need
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Cut cauliflower into tiny pieces and put it in a vessel.
- Apply salt to the cut pieces and mix.
- Cut half of the green chillies into small pieces and half of them lengthwise.
- Add the small pieces to the cut cauliflower.
- Cut ginger and garlic to small pieces. Add half of it to the above mixture.
- Add corn starch/corn flour to the above mixture too.
- Mix well and try to form small dumplings out of it.
- If the mixture is not sticky, add some more corn starch or add some water.
- Keep in mind that the mixture shouldn’t have a lot of flour in it.
- Take some oil for frying. After the oil is hot, add these small dumplings and fry till they are light brown or crunchy.
- After you finish frying, take about 2 tbsp of oil in a wok/frying pan.
- Add the green chillies cut lengthwise and the remaining half of the ginger and the garlic. Fry for some time.
- Then add the fried dumplings to it.
- Add all the sauces and water. If you want gravy, add around 2 cups of water, or if you want it dry, just add 1/2 cup of water. Add salt as per the taste.
- Serve hot with fried rice.
