Ingredients:

• 1 kg – chicken, cut into medium size pieces
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Green chilli paste or chilli sauce
• 1 tsp – Vinegar
• 3 tbsp – oil or Butter
• 2 tsp – chopped Green chillies
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – chopped Garlic
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Marinate the chicken with salt, vinegar, turmeric powder, ginger, garlic and chilli paste for 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil in a suitable pan. Saute the chopped garlic and green chillies for about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the marinated chicken and stir well.
  4. Stir fry for about 5 minutes, till the chicken changes colour.
  5. Add a little water and simmer, till the chicken is tender and the water dries up.
  6. Add one more spoon of oil or ghee and mix well.
  7. Serve with rice or bread.
  8. This can be served as a starter, at parties as well.
