Ingredients:

• 1 cup – besan
• 3 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar
• 1 pinch – soda
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tbsp – Curd
• boiled water
• Salt
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 cup shredded Coconut powder
• 1 tsp – sesame seeds
• 3 – Green chillies
• Fresh Cilantro
• Curry leaves

Method:

  1. Mix besan, oil, salt, sugar, chilli powder, lemon juice, curd and add boiled water to make a thick paste.
  2. Mix it all well.
  3. Then add soda or eno and stir it well.
  4. Take a vessel which can fit in a pressure cooker and grease it with oil and pour the paste in it.
  5. Steam cook it for 15 minutes on medium low flame.
  6. After it is ready take it out and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  7. Take a pan and pour 2 tbsp of oil in it and add mustard seeds.
  8. When the seeds splatters, add curry leaves, sesame seeds and green chillies to it.
  9. Then, cut the ready khaman in square pieces and spread the oil in the pan over the khaman.
  10. And then garnish it with fresh cilantro and shredded coconut.
