
Ingredients:
• 200 g – Mushroom (sliced)
• 2 cups – soaked Rice
• 2 – medium size onion, paste
• 1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1 – chopped Green chilli
• 2 to 3 tbsp – oil
• whole Garam Masala
• dry masala
• salt
• For Garnishing:
• 1 – onion, sliced round
• 1 – tomato, sliced round
• 1 – boiled egg, sliced round
• 1 – capsicum, sliced round
• Coriander leaves
Method:
- Cut mushrooms vertically into four pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mushrooms and salt and cook till the water in the mushrooms evaporates.
- In another pan heat oil.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, onion paste and green chilli and fry for 2 mins.
- Then add whole garam masala, fry till onions turn brown.
- Now add dry masala and garam masala powder.
- Fry for some time. Add water if required.
- Now add soaked rice and mushrooms and fry for 2 mins.
- Add water and cover it.
- When the biryani is half cooked, add capsicum.
- Keep the biryani on dum for some time.
- Garnish with tomato, onion, egg and coriander leaves.
- Serve with curd.
