Ingredients:

• 5 to 6 thin slices – pineapple.
• 2 to 3 – green chillies.
• 1 tsp – cumin powder.
• 2 tbsp – rasam Powder.
• Coriander leaves- as desired.
• 1/2 – lemon.
• Salt, to taste.
• Tur dal (only if desired).

Method:

  1. Take two glasses of water and add rasam powder. Cut green chillies and add it to the above. Bring it to a boil.
  2. Add pineapple, cumin powder and salt and a glass of water to the above, and allow it to boil for sometime.
  3. Optional: Add 2 spoons of cooked tuvar dal when it boils.
  4. Add coriander leaves before putting the gas off. After allowing it to cool for five minutes, add lemon and mix.
  5. Serve with rice.
