Ingredients:

• 1 bunch – Spinach leaves, thoroughly washed
• Channa dal – 1 tbsp
• Urad Dal – 1tbps
• Tamarind juice, paste (According to taste)
• Salt
• Red Chillies (According to your level of tolerance)
• Coconut (Optional)

Method:

  1. Boil the spinach and drain the excess water. Don’t throw away excess of water you can use it while grinding.
  2. Roast the channa dal, urad dal, red chillies with or without oil. Allow it to cool.
  3. Now in the grinder, add this roasted mixture, boiled spinach, coconut, tamarind paste and salt. As for adding the water while grinding is concerned, you can use the drained water.
  4. Serve with rice or chapattis.
