
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Soya chunks
• 1 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 – Onion finely chopped
• Boiled peas a handful
• 1/4 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/2 tsp – Chilli powder
• 2 tsp – Oil
• To temper :
• 1/4 inch piece – Cinnamon
• 2 – Cloves
• To roast and grind:
• 1 -Tomato
• 3 tbsp – Coconut
• 1 tsp – Fennel seeds
Method:
- Pressure cook soya chunks until soft.
- Drain water and wash it in cold water twice or thrice.
- Dry roast coconut, tomato and fennel seeds.
- Saute until tomato turns mushy and raw smell leaves.
- Grind it to a semi dry mixture without much water.
- Heat oil in a pan, add cinnamon, cloves and splutter.
- Then add ginger garlic paste and onions. Saute till onions turn slightly brown.
- Now add garam masala powder, chilli powder, required salt and mix well.
- Now add the ground mixture and saute until nicely roasted and browned.
- Now add pressure cooked soya chunks and mix well and fry for 3-4mins until the masalas are well blended with the chunks.
- Finally add peas give a quick stir and switch off.
