
Ingredients:
• For the Stuffing:
• 1/2 cup – Minced soya granules(cooked)
• 1- Potato (Big and cooked)
• 1- Onion (chopped)
• 1- Tomato (chopped)
• 1/ 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1/2 tsp – Red chilly powder
• Salt
• 8-10 – Curry leaves
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds and Mustard Seeds
• Oil
• For Fritters:
• 1 cup – Gram flour
• 1/4 cup – Rice flour
• Pinch of Asafoetida powder
• 1/4 tsp – Baking powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red chilly powder
• 6- Chillies
• Salt to taste
• Oil.
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter the cumin and mustard seeds.
- Then add the onions, chopped tomatoes, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and salt to it and saute everything until the onions turn pink.
- Now add the potatoes and the soya granules and saute until the masala gets cooked.
- Keep aside.
- Meanwhile mix all the ingredients for the fritters, except the oil and chillies, and make a thick batter with the water.
- Now heat oil for Deep frying.
- In the meanwhile cut the chillies and remove the seeds and fill them with the soya kheema and potato masala.
- Now dip the stuffed mirchis in the batter and gently drop them into the hot oil.
- Deep Fried on both sides until golden brown.
- Place in a paper towel to remove the excess oil.
- Serve with coffee or tea.
