Ingredients:

• 1 cup – cooked Rice
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Urad Dal
• 5 or 6 – Curry leaves
• 4 tbsp – chopped Onions
• 1 tsp – Chilli powder
• 1 pinch – Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 3 – 4 tbsp – crushed Tomato
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Add oil to a non-stick pan.
  2. When hot (not smoking) add mustard, urad, onions and curry leaves.
  3. When the onions are cooked, add tomatoes, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  4. Cook until a raw smell from the tomatoes disappears.
  5. Now add the cooked rice and stir.
  6. Serve hot with some yogurt or chips.
