Ingredients:

• 8 – brinjal, round and small ones
• 1 cup – Curd
• 1 tbsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Jeera powder
• 1/4 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 6 – Curry leaves
• 1 tbsp – Coriander seeds
• Salt
• 4 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. Slit brinjal into four without separating them
  2. Heat oil in a wide pan
  3. Put coriander seeds and curry leaves into the oil
  4. When coriander seeds start crackling put the brinjal into it
  5. Then add dry masala into the brinjal
  6. Cover it with a lid until brinjal become tender and the raw smell of the masala goes
  7. Switch off the gas and add curd into it when brinjal cools
  8. Mix it properly and serve with hot chapattis
