
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Channa dal
• 1 cup – grated Coconut
• 1/4 cup -red chillies
• 1 – tamarind, size of a Lime
• salt
• 1 tbsp – Sugar
• 1 tbsp – mustard
• 1 tbsp – Coriander seeds
• 1 tbsp – white til
Method:
- Fry all the ingredients separately.
- Powder the mustard, white til, coriander seeds. To this, add the sugar, salt, tamarind, dry coconut and channa dal, which has been fried to a golden colour.
- Spicy chutney powder goes very well with idlis, dosas and also with steamed white rice.
