Ingredients:
• Left over idlis – 4
• Oil or Ghee – 3 tbsp
• Idly chilli powder – 2 to 3 tsp
• Fresh bread crumbs – 1/2 cup
• Milk – 2 tbsp
Method:
- Preheat the sandwich toaster till the indicator light switches off.
- Meanwhile, mix bread crumbs with milk.
- Add idli, chilli powder and 1.5 spoons oil or ghee. Mix well.
- Brush the under side of 2 idlis with some oil or ghee.
- Spread bread mixture on top of each idli and place in sandwich toaster. The idlis can be toasted on a tawa too.
- Toast till top is brown.
- Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
