
Ingredients:
• 400 g – Mutton liver
• 1 – large onion, finely chopped
• 1-inch – Ginger
• 6-8 Cloves – Garlic
• 4 – green Cardamom pods
• 1-inch stick – Cinnamon
• 1 tsp – Coriander seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – black pepper
• 2 – dry Red Chillies
• 4 tbsp – oil
• 1 cup – Curd (well beaten)
• 2 cups – water (warm)
Method:
- Marinate liver with 1 tsp of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder and 1/2 tsp salt, for 30 mins.
- Grind all dry spices to a fine paste with the red chilli.
- Heat oil and fry chopped onion till soft.
- Add marinated liver and cook for 2-3 mins.
- Add the ground masala, mix well and cook for 2-3 mins more.
- Add the beaten curd, add salt to taste and cook for 2 mins.
- Add water and cook covered, till gravy thickens.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with boiled rice or parathas.
