Ingredients:
• 1 kg – Mutton or Beef cut into medium-sized pieces
• 4 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 cup – curd/yogurt
• salt to taste
• 4 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
• 2 tbsp – chopped Mint leaves
• 2 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – spice powder or Garam Masala powder
• 4 Green chillies
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – pepper powder
• 2 tomatoes, chopped
• 3 onions, chopped finely
• 1 tsp – Cumins powder
• 3 tbsp – oil
Method:
- Marinate the beef / mutton with all the above ingredients except the oil and keep aside for about 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a suitable pan and add the marinated meat.
- Cook on high heat for about 5 mins mixing occasionally so that the meat does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
- Add 1 cup of water and mix well.
- Simmer covered on low heat till the meat is tender and the gravy is thick.
- Serve with chapattis, bread or rice.
