
Ingredients:
• 2 cups -lentil dal
• 1 handful -green Spinach leaves
• 4 – 5 -red chillies
• 1 tsp -salt
• 1- Ginger small piece
• 4 -5 -mint leaves
• 1 pinch -asafoetida
• oil
Method:
- Soak lentil dal for 2 to 3 hours.
- Chop the spinach leaves into small pieces.
- Grind the lentil dal coarsely adding red chilli, salt, ginger and asafoetida.
- Add the spinach leaves to the batter.
- Heat some oil in the kadai.
- Flatten the prepared batter in a plastic sheet.
- Deep fry the vadas till golden brown.
- Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
