
Ingredients:
• 3/4 cup – all – purpose flour
• 1/2 cup – granulated Sugar
• 1/4 cup – vegetable oil
• 1/4 cup – Milk
• 1/2 tsp – vanilla
• A little powdered Sugar
• 2 – eggs
Method:
- In a big bowl, beat all the ingredients, except powdered sugar, with an electric mixer on medium speed until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle with a narrow opening.
- Heat an 8-inch skillet over medium heat and grease lightly.
- Squeeze the batter to form 4 straight, thin lines that intersect at a common centre point to form a star shape.
- To form a cobweb, squeeze thin streams of the batter to connect all the straight lines.
- Cook the cobweb cookies until golden brown, turning them carefully.
- Remove from the skillet gently and allow them to cool on a wire rack.
- Heat an oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Bake the cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from the cookie sheet and allow them to cool.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar on the cookies.
- Store in an airtight container, separating each layer with parchment paper.
