Ingredients:
• 1 kg – Pomfret
• For masala:
• 1 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• For stuffing:
• 4 – Onions
• 4 – medium Green chillies
• A few sprigs – Mint leaves
• 1 tsp – garam-masala
• 100 gms – Plums
• 1 tsp – pepper powder
• 3 tbsp – Ghee
• 1 cup – cooking oil
Method:
- Wash the fish and slit in the middle.
- Keep the fish whole, except for the slit.
- Mince all the ingredients for stuffing and fry it in ghee.
- Apply turmeric powder, salt and the masala inside and outside the fish.
- Fill the fish with stuffing.
- Tie the fish with a string, so that the stuffing does not fall out.
- Dip the fish in a batter of wheat flour and fry on low flame.
