
Ingredients:
• 6 – potols
• 4 – Onions
• 1 – Potato
• 2 – Tomatoes
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 2 tsp – Jeera powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 – Bay Leaf
• 2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 3 tbsp – Mustard oil
• salt to taste
Method:
- Slit the potols and take out the seeds and flesh.
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil. Chop the onion and add. Fry for a minute.
- Add the potol flesh and seeds. Add half a tomato, salt and turmeric powder. Fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Stuff the fried ingredients into the potols and keep aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil. Cut and add the remaining 3 onions and fry for a minute.
- Add the bay leaf and fry.
- Cut and add the potato, remaining tomatoes, green chillies and garlic paste.
- Add salt and turmeric powder and mix. Cook for a minute.
- Add 2 cups of water. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the potols, jeera powder, garam masala and red chilli powder and mix.
- Cook on low flame until the potols get cooked and the gravy becomes thick.
