Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Beaten Rice (fawwa) (clean and soak)
• 1 – Coconut tender (grate and scrape)
• 400 gms – Jaggery (grate and scrape)
• 6 – plantains (yellow, ripe and cut)
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder (for garnish)
• 2 tbsp – Ghee

Method:

  1. After cleaning the beaten rice, soak it in the water of the tender coconut.
  2. Scrape the jaggery in thin flakes and mix well with the scrapings of the kernel of the tender coconut.
  3. Cut the ripe plantains into small bits and mash them with the beaten rice and garnish it with the cardamom powder.
