Ingredients:

• 1 kg – fish
• 1/2 bunch – Coriander leaves
• 1 – onion, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp – salt
• 1 tbsp – Turmeric powder
• 100 g – Mustard oil
• To grind:
• 4 tbsp – Mustard Seeds
• 4 Cloves -garlic
• 5 – Green chillies

Method:

  1. Wash the fish thoroughly and pat it dry. Marinate with 1 tsp salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Heat the kadai with 2-3 tbsp mustard oil and fry the fish.
  3. Saute the fishes and keep it aside.
  4. In the remaining oil, fry the chopped onions till the onion turns pink.
  5. Put the ground masala into it and reduce the flame.
  6. Add 1 cup of water into it.
  7. When it starts boiling, put the sauteed fishes into it and boil for sometime.
  8. After the gravy thickens, simmer it for sometime, covered.
  9. Garnish it with fresh chopped coriander leaves.
  10. Serve.
