
Ingredients:
• 115 gms (1/2 cup) – warm Milk (approx 60 degrees C)
• 1.5 tsp – Dry yeast
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• 400 gms – flour
• 2 tbsp – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 2 – large eggs
• 2 tbsp – oil
• Butter
• Icing Sugar
Method:
- Stir milk, yeast and 1 tsp of sugar and let batter rise for 5 mins.
- Put the flour, sugar and salt into a mixing bowl and add the yeast mix, eggs and oil.
- Stir all of it thoroughly. Cover the batter and let it rise for 30 mins.
- The donut moulds may be greased with cooking oil.
- Stir all ingredients thoroughly until the batter is smooth.
- Preheat the donut making appliance for 5 mins.
- Fill in one level tbsp of batter per donut mould and close appliance.
- Baking time will be 30 mins or until the desired degree of brownness has been achieved.
- Take finished donuts from the mould and use up remaining batter in the same way.
