Ingredients:
• 1 cup – rava
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• 4 cut chillies
• 1 cut Carrot
• 1 cut Onion
• 1 cut Capsicum
• 1 cup peas
• Salt to taste
• Some kadipatha
• 4 cups – water
Method:
- Take a pan and add 2 tsps of oil to it.
- Add mustard, urad dal, chillies and kadipatha to it.
- When the mustard begins to pop, add the cut onion and capsicum.
- Then, fry it until the onion turns golden brown.
- Add 3 cups of water and the cut carrot and peas to it.
- Add salt to taste.
- Allow it to cook well.
- Take another pan and pour 2 tsp of oil.
- Then, take the rava and fry it till it is hot enough and begins to turn slightly brown.
- Add the cooked carrot, peas mixture and other ingredients, and also some water to it.
- Mix well until it become thick and well cooked.
- Your upma is ready.
- Serve it with coconut chutney.
