Ingredients:

• 1 cup – rava
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• 4 cut chillies
• 1 cut Carrot
• 1 cut Onion
• 1 cut Capsicum
• 1 cup peas
• Salt to taste
• Some kadipatha
• 4 cups – water

Method:

  1. Take a pan and add 2 tsps of oil to it.
  2. Add mustard, urad dal, chillies and kadipatha to it.
  3. When the mustard begins to pop, add the cut onion and capsicum.
  4. Then, fry it until the onion turns golden brown.
  5. Add 3 cups of water and the cut carrot and peas to it.
  6. Add salt to taste.
  7. Allow it to cook well.
  8. Take another pan and pour 2 tsp of oil.
  9. Then, take the rava and fry it till it is hot enough and begins to turn slightly brown.
  10. Add the cooked carrot, peas mixture and other ingredients, and also some water to it.
  11. Mix well until it become thick and well cooked.
  12. Your upma is ready.
  13. Serve it with coconut chutney.
