
Ingredients:
• 1.75 cups – all purpose unbleached flour
• 1 – Egg
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 1/2 tsp – baking soda
• 1/3 cup – vegetable oil
• 1 tsp – vanilla
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 3/4 cup – Milk or juice
• 2 tbsp – Apple sauce
• few drops – yellow colour
Method:
- Sieve the flour using soda and baking powder for at least 3 times and set aside. Beat egg until frothy. Add sugar, salt, yellow colour, milk, apple sauce, vanilla, and oil and mix well again.
- Add the sifted flour to the mixture and mix well until it forms a batter.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Line the muffin tray with baking cups and fill the mixture 2/3 full and set into the preheated oven.
- Bake about 20 to 25 minutes or until the skewers inserted come out clean. The muffins will puff up and become golden brown in colour.
- Note:
- You can add any dry fruits or nuts of your choice.
- Even an icing of your choice can be added.
