Ingredients:
• Beans – 250 g
• Channa dal – 1 cup
• Moong dal – 1 cup
• Dry chillies – 2 or 3
• Green chillies – 4
• Jeera – 1 tsp
• Hing powder – 1.24 tsp
• Salt – as per taste
• Curry leaves – 10 or 15 leaves
• Urad Dal – 1 tsp
• Oil – 2 tsp
• Butter – 1 tsp
Method:
- Soak the dals in water for 3 hours.
- Chop beans finely.
- Grind the dals coarsely along with green chillies, jeera and salt.
- Heat oil in a heavy bottom kadai.
- Add dry chillies, curry leaves and urad dal.
- Once the chillies and urad dal are sauteed, add beans.
- Fry for 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Add the ground dals and fry for 15 minutes.
- Finally, transfer the contents into a serving bowl, sprinkle hing powder and add a tsp of butter.
- Keep it covered for few minutes and serve.
