Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup Wheat flakes
• 1/2 cup rolled white Oats
• 1 litre Milk
• 2 tbsp Rice flour
• 1/2 cup Sugar
• 1 tbsp chopped Almonds
• 2-3 drops vanilla essence
• For Garnish:
• A few Wheat flakes
• A few Almond slivers
• A few rose petals

Method:

  1. Dissolve rice flour in 1 cup milk and keep aside.
  2. Heat remaining milk and bring to a boil.
  3. Simmer for 8-10 minutes, add sugar and boil till dissolved.
  4. Gradually add rice flour mixture while stirring continuously.
  5. Bring back to a boil and simmer for 5-7 minutes or till thick.
  6. Cool to room temperature and stir in vanilla essence.
  7. Add wheat flakes, oats and almonds, stirring gently.
  8. Pour into individual bowls and refrigerate till set well.
  9. This should take about 3-4 hours.
  10. Serve chilled, topped with a few wheat flakes and almonds.
