Ingredients:

• 3 cups – Ragi idiyappam (broken)
• 1 cup – whole green moong dhal (soaked and cooked with a pinch of salt)
• 1/2 cup – Onion (chopped)
• 3 -red chilli or adjust to your taste
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1/2 tbsp – oil
• 1 tbsp – Coconut (optional)
• Salt
• Curry Leaf

Method:

  1. In a pan, add oil. Pop mustard. Then add the red chillies. Fry for few seconds.
  2. Now, add the chopped onion. Fry till it turns to golden brown.
  3. Add the cooked whole green moong dhal. Mix well.
  4. Now, switch off the stove. Add the broken Idiyappam.
  5. Add salt and coconut. Mix completely.
  6. Garnish with curry leaf.
  7. Serve immediately or later.
