Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup clarified Butter
• 1/2 cup Sugar
• 1/2 tsp-ground Cardamoms
• 1/2 tsp-ground Cinnamon
• 2 tbsp-whipping Cream
• 1/4 tsp-saffron dissolved in 1 tbsp. warm Milk
• 2 tbsps-cashew nuts
• 1 tbsp-pistachio nuts
• 2 tsp-pure Ghee
• 1.5-cups Rice
• 1 and 3/4th cups water
• 1 cup Milk
• Pinch of salt
Method:
- Heat 1/4 cup butter and fry cardamom and cinnamon for a minute or two
- Add rice and fry for 2 to 3 minutes
- Bring water to a boil. Add rice, stir and cover tightly
- When rice is half done, add milk, salt and sugar
- Cover and continue cooking
- When rice is done, mix in the whipping cream and saffron dissolved in the milk
- Saute the nuts in 2 tsp. ghee and garnish with rice
