Ingredients:

• 1/2 loaf – bread (or leftover bread)
• 1 cup – Curd (some sour)
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• salt to taste
• 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 – green chillies, finely chopped
• coriander leaves, finely chopped
• 1 – onion, finely chopped
• oil for deep frying
• 1 – Carrot grated, optional

Method:

  1. Cut bread into small pieces.
  2. Mix all the ingredients with curd and prepare as puri batter without adding water.
  3. Shape this into tikkis or any other shape and deep fry in oil (oil should not be too hot).
  4. Fry till golden in colour.
  5. Serve with tomato sauce.
