Ingredients:

• 4 slices – Bread
• 1/2 cup – White Rava (Sooji)
• 1/2 cup – Yogurt
• 1/2 – Onion (big), chopped
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tsp – Coriander leaves, chopped
• Turmeric powder (a generous pinch)
• Ghee to toast
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients except bread and make a semi-thick batter.
  2. Spread the batter on each slice of bread to coat well.
  3. Heat a tawa, add 1/2 tsp ghee, place the bread slice carefully, then coat the other side with batter.
  4. Once it gets cooked on one side, flip and toast the bread slice till it is golden brown on both the sides.
  5. Serve with tomato sauce.
