Ingredients:

• 1 bunch – kale Leaves
• 1 cup – Tuvar dal
• 3 – 4 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1 tsp – Jeera
• 1 tsp – Chana dal
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
• Cilantro to garnish

Method:

  1. Cook tuvar dal in pressure cooker.
  2. In a pan, heat oil, add mustard, jeera, chana dal and urad dal.
  3. Fry till the dal turns golden brown.
  4. Now add green chillies and chopped kale leaves.
  5. Keep stirring till the leaves wilt completely.
  6. Add the cooked dal and salt.
  7. Cook covered for at least 40 minutes or until the leaves are cooked well.
  8. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with rice or chapatti.
