Ingredients:
• Raw Rice – 1.5 cups
• Coconut – 1/2
• Yeast – 10 – 12
• Sugar – 1 tsp
• Salt -1/2 tsp
Method:
- Soak raw rice in water for two hours.
- Grind the rice with half a coconut.
- Add yeast, sugar and salt with the paste and mix well.
- Keep it overnight to ferment.
- The next day, make the appam in a pan over low flame, covered.
