Ingredients:

• 250 g – poha(puffed rice)
• 1/2 cup – chopped Onion
• 1/2 cup – raw Peanuts
• a handful of Curry leaves
• 1/2 cup – chopped coriander
• 1 tsp – chopped green chilly
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp – black Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – brown Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 pinch – Asafoetida
• 1/2 tsp – red chilly flakes
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• salt to taste
• 1 – Lemon
• 2 tbsp – Sunflower oil

Method:

  1. Heat oil In a pan and add asafoetida and curry leaves.
  2. Crackle mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
  3. Add onion and green chilly and saute four 2 mins.
  4. Add roasted peanut and all spices.
  5. Mix well and add washed puffed rice.
  6. Cook for two minutes and remove it from heat.
  7. Squeeze juice of one lemon and garnish with chopped coriander.
  8. Serve with sauce and tea.
